Raw, Virgin & Processed Hair
Raw hair is 100% natural and pure. This hair is straight off the head and has never been processed. Raw hair comes in natural straight, wavy and slightly curly textures.
Hair textures such as body wave, deep wave, beach curl, kinky curl etc. are considered virgin hair. Virgin hair isn't chemically processed, but is steamed to achieve these different textures.
Hair types like Brazilian, Malaysian, Peruvian and Cambodian are not really from these countries. This is false advertising. The people from these countries do not cut and donate their hair. Distributors from these countries import Indian hair and export it as exotic hair types for bigger profits.
Brazilian hair is Indian hair made to feel soft with softeners. Malaysian hair is Indian hair treated with silicone for the bone straight look.
Nearly 99% of all donated hair comes from India.
